The Bicimparo Kinder Joy of Moving 2024 Tour stops in Cosenza. An edition even richer in content: starting from the correct use of the bicycle to encourage movement and play among the younger generations, important issues such as inclusion, the environment and road safety will be addressed. The latter is a topic that affects all road users who use two wheels very closely. Speaking of road safety, the project will be able to count on an exceptional institutional partner: the State Police. In fact, Camper Azzurro will be present at all stages of the tour and will involve children and adults in training and experiential interventions dedicated to road safety. The initiative, which this year will also see the Italian Cycling Federation and Ferrero involved in close collaboration, will touch all Italian regions and, like last year, will be followed by a staff of high-level technicians.
In the city of Bruzi, chosen as the only Calabrian stop, the appointment is for Monday 8 April in Piazza dei Bruzi, organized by Asd AbraCalabria in collaboration with the regional and national federal technical structure. In the morning, from 9.30 to 13, the event will be dedicated to children aged 5 to 15 and will involve students from city comprehensive schools who will carry out the activity with bicycles and helmets made available by Decathlon, again this year in support of the project, on a skill path.
In the afternoon, starting from 3.30 pm, there will be space for members: Giovanissimi, ID, PG and C21 who will compete in the five skill sectors to acquire the points necessary to access the next gymkhana/sprint activity. The tests will allow us to select the regional representative who will be called to compete in the national final of the project scheduled for June 21st in Tarvisio, as part of the National Meeting of Societies for Very Young People!
On Monday, the regional delegate of the Federciclismo, Francesco Corrado, will also be in Piazza dei Bruzi, who since his inauguration has passionately and decisively bent federal policy towards introducing the little ones to cycling, not only as an opportunity for sport, but also as a style of life for the education of future citizens.
