The crucial days. Mayor Franz Caruso is ready to drop the poker: the new municipal council will be presented in the next 48 hours. To use a phrase dear to Roman history (and not only) “the die is cast”.
The delegation of the Democratic Party with the deputy mayor Maria Locanto and the councilor Damiano Covelli will be confirmed while Giuseppe Mazzuca will remain at the helm of the council; the political movement attributable to the regional councilor Francesco De Cicco will count on the councilors Gianluca Orrico and Pasquale Svenireto while the representation of the Socialist Party will change face and will no longer have its point of reference in Pina Incarnato (the choice could fall on Raffaele Fuorivia, group leader in the council assembly). The mayor has always been a socialist and the issue concerns him closely: the break with his former head of cabinet, the former regional councilor Luigi Incarnato, Calabrian head of the PSI, has changed the cards on the table.
Among the new councilors certainly appears the entry into Palazzo dei Bruzi of Sarino Branda, former director of Confindustria, who will become a reference figure in the complex sector of production activities.
