Yesterday the final approval arrived: Spezia-Cosenza will be played at the “Picco”. The La Spezia facility will reopen its doors on the occasion of the arrival of Fabio Caserta’s team. The Juventus club was awaiting the final approval from the FIGC’s infrastructural and sporting organizational criteria commission. Cosenza supporters will be able to purchase tickets for the match from this morning at 10am until tomorrow at 7pm. Coupons for the guest sector (10 euros), according to current provisions, will only be available to loyalty card holders.
Marketing strategies. Cosenza continues on the line traced recently. During this morning’s session at the “Real Cosenza” sports center, some classes from the “Lo Piano” sports science high school in Cetraro will be present. The students will then meet the rossoblù technical staff in the press room. The Sila people therefore try to get as close as possible to their own “herd”. Yesterday, another initiative was illustrated, the “Rossoblù Walkabout”. The latter will allow fans to be involved by making them experience “new emotions” on the day of the match. The latest idea from the marketing area of the via degli Stadi club will be launched starting from the home match on Saturday 4 November against Feralpisalò. However, the “behind the scenes” in the home of Wolves in the hours leading up to kick-off seems to be an invitation reserved… for the establishment. The initiative, says Cosenza, “is designed for families”.
The basic package is 250 euros (participation of one adult and a maximum of two children under 14). The cost is reduced to 200 euros by taking advantage of the “launch promotion” designed for the match against the Lombards (registrations must arrive by Wednesday 1 November at 12 pm, as there is an unspecified but still optimistic maximum ceiling). It is further reduced if the adult is already a season ticket holder: in this circumstance it is “sufficient” to shell out 130 euros. Furthermore, another adult can be added to the package to benefit from the “Rossoblù Walkabout” at a cost of 65 euros and children under 14 at a cost of 15 euros (up to two more).
«Many activities are planned, including entering the changing rooms, crossing the iconic tunnel among the photos of the glories of our history, greeting the players when they arrive at the stadium in front of the Sky and Dazn cameras, the team warm-up seen from a privileged position. The “Walkabout” gives access to the central VIP Blue Grandstand and to the hospitality area during the interval. Each package includes a reserved parking space and an official (non-personalised) shirt and post-event souvenir photo. A concentration of strong rossoblù emotions all to remember and tell”, explains Cosenza with all due respect to those who from this summer invite Eugenio Guarascio’s club to review the entrance fees to the stadium. High prices, inflation and the city’s economic difficulties have affected a significant portion of young and old generations of fans. Evidently, no… “thought” was foreseen for them at the moment.
