The president of the Sicilian Region, Renato Schifani, this afternoon appointed the interim manager of the commissioner structure against hydrogeological instability. He is Except Lizzio, current general manager of the regional Department of Infrastructure and Mobility.
Lizzio replaces Maurizio Croce, involved yesterday in a judicial investigation and suspended from his duties.
«It is necessary – underlines Schifani, who holds the role of commissioner of the Structure – to allow the offices to be able to continue to carry out their work immediately, exercising, among other things, a strategic function in the defense of our territory».
