On the morning of June 20, about 20 girls and children from Crotone, accompanied by parents and educators, visited Carabinieri di Crotone as part of the “We educate legality” project, curated by the Vitasì Social Cooperative with the Municipality of Crotone.
The children, from 4 to 12 years old, also accompanied by the Councilor for Social Policies of the Municipality of Crotone, Filly Pollinzi, were welcomed to the barracks by the company’s commander, Magg. Rossella Pozzebon, and by the military on duty at the company’s departments.
The morning began with the projection of a video that illustrated the various specialties and activities carried out by the weapon departments, from the territorial to the mobile organization, to the specialized departments.
The very young guests and their companions were then able to visit part of the structure, starting from the Operations Center, to then see the “gazelle” of the prompt intervention of the Radiomobile section then.
An important moment has also been dedicated to a reflection, with language and means closer to children, on bullying and cyberbullying, held by Mar. Ord. Luma, commander of the Carabinieri station of Casabona.
The provincial commander, Col. Raffaele Giovinazzo, brought his greetings, then focusing on the importance of these initiatives to spread and extension of legality, which the weapon has always carried out even in the more peripheral realities.
The visit ended with a small refreshment and the renewal of the availability of the weapon, to the constant service of the community.
