From April 3, the provincial health company of Crotone has introduced a new procedure for the payment of the health ticket reserved for exempt patients. It will no longer be necessary to go to the counters for the stamping of the medical prescriptions: the IT system will automatically detect the status of exemption at the time of booking the exam or visit to affiliated structures and pharmacies.
Patients will only have to pay the amount relating to the booking service. “Simplification, sburocratization and digitization of the procedures are among the priorities of the healthcare companies,” explained the extraordinary commissioner of the Asp of Crotone, Monica Calamai.
The booking system, active for almost a year, also provides for payment via pagopa, which has replaced the stamping with a receipt to be shown at the time of the service.
