Today morning, November 25, 2024, at the Prefecture of Crotone a meeting took place Operational Traffic Committee to plan the alternative route following the temporary closure of State Road 106 in the stretch between the Passovecchio roundabout and the Fasana area, in the municipality of Strongoli. The stretch will be closed to traffic, except for residents, from 6:00 am on Wednesday 27 November until 6:00 am on Friday 29 November to allow ANAS to carry out structural rehabilitation works of the bridge over the Neto river.
After careful joint inspections with the Province of Crotone and other interested bodies, alternative routes have been identified: motorists will be able to use the Provincial Road 18 and the State Road 107, with the possibility of re-entering the SS 106 from the Passovecchio roundabout.
To ensure smooth traffic management, the main deviation junctions, including the Passovecchio crossroads and the Rocca di Neto roundabout, will be manned by ANAS operators. During the busiest hours, Traffic Police officers will also be present to ensure safety and compliance with diversions.
The works on the Neto bridge, necessary to guarantee its full safety and functionality, represent an important intervention for the traffic of the area, despite the temporary inconveniences for road users. Motorists are advised to pay attention to signs and plan their journeys in advance.
