The serious inconveniences due to the damage to the water conduct due to the bad weather last January, with infiltrations of mud and debris that contaminated the water by depriving the east areas of the inhabited center for days, and the historical critical issues of the city water network have been the subject of the debate in the city council in Sant’Agata Militello.
The motion of the minority councilors Puleo, Starvaggi, Aladia, Caruso and Ortoleva, who commits the administration ad exempt from the payment of the water fee, even partially, the citizens of the areas concerned for the period in which the disservices occurred, as well as to establish a fund with sums of the Sicilian Region for the reimbursement of expenses incurred by users for cleaning the tanks and other maintenance interventions.
The same motion also urged the adoption of a regulation for the management of the Autobotte Service, in the face of harsh criticism on the current distribution methods without a specific register.
