“The partnership between Delta and Italy will continue stronger than before with an increase in our capacity of over 10% year-on-year” of flights to our country. This is stated Matthew Curciosenior vice president for Europe, Middle East, Africa and India of the American company Delta. Curcio announced some new routes that will start next summer. Flights are inaugurated from Catania to New York JFK, from Rome to Minneapolis, from Milan to Boston and from Naples to Atlanta.

All Delta flights from Italy are operated in collaboration with joint venture partners Air France KLM, while “the partnership with Ita is fading a bit,” Curcio acknowledged. Also from Rome, connections with Atlanta will increase, with up to three flights a day in peak months, as already happens with New York. Another new feature concerns the Venice-New York route, already inaugurated, which from this year can also be traveled in winter. Overall, Delta will operate up to 116 weekly flights between Italy and the United States in the summer of 2025.
