“The League has now thrown away its mask and continues to accelerate on differentiated autonomy, despite the appeals presented by the Regions before the Constitutional Court and the one million three hundred thousand signatures deposited in the Court of Cassation for the abrogation referendum, to which were added the two referendum questions voted by the regional councils of Campania, Emilia Romagna, Puglia, Sardinia and Tuscany to cancel the “split Italy”. Despite a mobilization of this level and the doubts of constitutionalists about a botched and unfair reform, the governors of the North led by Luca Zaia have begun to schedule operational meetings with Minister Calderoli for early October. Objective of the meetings: to accelerate the attribution of subjects outside the Lep to the Regions that request them”.
To support it, through a press note, I am the regional councilors of the Democratic Party group which highlight the incorrectness of the governors of the North and of the League who arrogantly force the hand further to create administrative difficulties and penalize the South.
“An incomprehensible way of doing things – continue the Dem councilors – which, moreover, mocks the timid critical position expressed by Tajani who had asked to postpone the discussion of the matters to be attributed to the autonomy of the Regions at the time of the definition of the Leps. And which demonstrates how important Forza Italia is within a government driven by the Lega-Fdi axis. Not only that. It demonstrates once again how hypocritical the position of governor Roberto Occhiuto is who continues to pretend not to want differentiated autonomy, after having endorsed it in the State-Regions Conference, and suffers in silence every administrative act and every initiative of the League. It makes no sense to show fake muscles and persist on the issue of financing the Leps. Instrumental themes that do not undermine the danger and effectiveness of the Calderoli decree. Those who see concrete and contingent problems faced with differentiated autonomy take the main path, namely that of appealing to the Supreme Court. And he shows his face just like five governors have done. It is not a question of political or party colour. At stake is the fate of the people administered by the presidents themselves and the interests of the citizens should come first.”
