Yesterday the mayor Federico Basile he thanked the instructors and parents, gave a key ring with the city symbol to all the athletes, and a pennant to the instructors. Then turning to the boys he said that they should be happy for the victory for three reasons. They are young and are already achieving excellent results. Sport helps them grow with healthy values and above all to be together and share group experiences. Because they are from Messina and have represented the city at its best.
Valentina Porto instructor of the Le Palme Equestrian Club declared: “This meeting was a moment of strong emotions with the mayor who involved the children of the three Messina clubs by asking them to tell their feelings, what memories not only linked to the competitive competition they had left of these Italian Cup Finals . For us clubs it is a great satisfaction also because we know that horse riding is less practiced and less known than other sports disciplines, therefore the fact that the spotlight is placed on it on these occasions is a positive factor for us”.
