Max Verstappen’s Red Bull won the Formula 1 Japanese Grand Prix. The Dutch world champion preceded the McLarens of Lando Norris and Oscar Piastri. Charles Leclerc’s Ferrari came fourth, while Carlos Sainz’s other Ferrari finished in sixth place.

With the victory on Japanese soil, Red Bull also officially conquers the manufacturers title: the sixth for the Austrian team.

Verstappen: “Super year”

«Incredible weekend. Winning here is great. The machine worked well on every compound. The most important thing is to have won the Constructors’ title.” Joy and smiles from Max Verstappen immediately after winning the Japanese GP and giving his Red Bull the sixth Constructors’ title in the history of the Austrian team. «I am very proud of those who work with us on the track and also at headquarters – said the Flying Dutchman during the podium party in Suzuka – in the factory. We are having an incredible year, I am very proud of everyone. I had a bit of a slide at the start, but that was the only difficult moment. For the rest I had a linear and calm race.”
