This afternoon fire brigade teams intervened in via Aldo Moro a Casabona for a fire which originated from the chimney flue and was spreading to the roof of a three-storey house.
Upon arrival on site of the Cirò Marina detachment team, they noticed that the flames starting from the fireplace and extending into the chimney were also affecting the wooden roof of the building. The ladder truck from the Crotone headquarters also intervened to support the Cirò Marina team, giving the possibility of working on the flames even from above, avoiding the spread of the flames to the entire house and nearby ones. No injuries were reported. Carabinieri and local police were also on site.
