Moments of Fear this morning in Briaticowhere a fire has broken down inside a noble palace in a state of abandonment located in via Garibaldi. The alarm took place at 9:10 am and the Fire Brigade of the Command of Vibo Valentia immediately intervened on the spot, with a team of the detachment of Vibo Marina, supported by a tanker from the headquarters.
The intervention and damage contained
The flames mainly affected waste of various kinds accumulated inside the building, but also some doors and part of the wooden floor. Thanks to the timely intervention of the rescuers, the fire was limited and extinct before it could spread to the other wooden floors, thus avoiding more serious structural damage. The operations ended at 12:40, reporting the situation safely and avoiding further risks.
