Without too many turns of phrase and without resorting to sugar-coated formulas, Aldo Ferrara gets straight to the point: «Entrepreneurs are aware that 2026 will be a complex year». The president of Unindustria Calabria focuses on the macroeconomic scenario and current events: «The unpredictability of the international context produces effects of instability which also reverberate on the local economy. As a regional Confindustria system we are working precisely to give solidity to businesses.”
However, in the reading of entrepreneurs, the starting point is positive: «The results of 2025, particularly in the first half of the year, were encouraging and we believe that Agenda Calabria contributed significantly: it produced the economic shock that was desirable, it rekindled the engine of the regional economy. With the Region we have built tools that have given life to investments, but – warns Ferrara – now is the time to give substance and confidence to that strategy: we cannot lower our guard in the transition to the next phase”.
