Formula 1 will continue to race at the Autodromo Nazionale di Monza until at least 2031. A new agreement has been signed which will guarantee the presence of the historic Brianza circuit on the calendar for the next seven years. The agreement provides for an initial investment of 27 million euros per year, destined to grow over time, for an estimated overall total of approximately 200 million euros.
The confirmation comes following the completion of the modernization works of the racetrack, managed by the Automobile Club of Italy (ACI) and completed in record time.
Monza, inaugurated in 1922, is one of the most iconic Formula 1 circuits and has been part of the World Championship since its inception in 1950, with the sole exception of 1980, when the event was moved to Imola to allow for renovations.
This new agreement represents an important victory for the circuit, which will continue to be a point of reference for motorsport fans around the world.
