An evening full of emotions for Gemma Pometti, hairdresser from Mirto Crosia (Cosenza), protagonist in this evening’s episode of “Affari Tuoi”, the Rai 1 game show hosted by Stefano De Martino. The young competitor brought her personal story and a lot of determination to the stage, winning over audiences and studios.
Gemma started the game by choosing Gennarino, the puppet symbol of the show, as her adventure companion, finding him among the first six packages and thus securing the 4,000 euro Jackpot.
The path, however, immediately proved to be treacherous: in the first rounds, packages of 300 thousand, 200 thousand and 75 thousand euros were released. Despite this, the competitor showed cold blood by first refusing 27 thousand euros and then 30 thousand euros offered by the Doctor.
Her strength is also in her family history: her parents, like many, worked for years in Germany, while her older sister Margherita took care of her, becoming an important point of reference in her life. A family united in supporting her also from her studies.
As the game continues, the 100 thousand euros also come out and the Doctor tries to make Gemma waver by offering 9 thousand euros, but she doesn’t give in. Thus we arrive at the decisive moment with three packages left: 20 euros, the black package and 50 thousand euros.
Before the last phase, the Doctor relies on the cards: the change comes out, but Gemma refuses. The black package is eliminated and 500 euros are discovered inside. Therefore, a head-to-head final remains on the table: 20 euros against 50 thousand.
Once again the cards decide. The Doctor sets an offer at 20 thousand euros. Gemma draws and this time the offer comes out: after a moment of hesitation she chooses to accept, taking home 20 thousand euros, which together with the Jackpot becomes a total of 24 thousand euros.
In the end, opening package number 1, the discovery: inside there were 50 thousand euros. A hint of regret, of course, but also the joy of a significant victory that will make this day unforgettable for her and for all of Mirto Crosia.
A simple and beautiful story, like the smile with which Gemma greeted the public: luck rewards those who know how to take risks. And this evening, at least a little, he rewarded her too.
