Crotone greets the new year with entertainment, music and participation. Four quality events between the end and the beginning of the year, capable of combining tradition, great music and moments of collective celebration included in Natale al Centro, the program of initiatives that animated the city during the holidays.
The first event is the End of the Year Grand Opera Gala, scheduled for 30 December 2025 at 8.30 pm at the Teatro Comunale Vincenzo Scaramuzza. An evening of great music to greet 2025, starring Teresa Cardace (soprano), Gianfrancesco Federico (violin) and Nico Fuscaldo (piano). Entrance is free while places last.
On New Year’s Eve, December 31st, the city will meet in Piazza Pitagora for the great New Year’s Eve in Crotone. Starting from 11pm, Max Gazzè & Calabria Orchestra, Camilway, Shining Voices Gospel Choir & Shining Band will take turns on stage. Afterwards, the DJ set “80 desire for dance 90” will accompany the public towards the new year. Also in this case entry will be free.
On January 1st, at 12 pm, one of the most loved events is renewed on the city seafront: the traditional New Year’s Dive, a symbol of sharing and good omen for the new year that begins. Also on January 1st, at 6.30 pm, the Teatro Comunale Vincenzo Scaramuzza will host the First New Year’s Concert, directed by maestro Gianluigi Borrelli. A special event to inaugurate 2026 in the name of the elegance and energy of music, with a 40-piece orchestra that will perform the most famous pages of the New Year’s tradition by Strauss, Verdi, Beethoven, Tchaikovsky and other great composers. On stage Roberto Stricagnoli (tenor), Mattia Rigillo (soprano) and Gianfrancesco Federico (first violin).
