An evening of extraordinary emotion that lived last night (May 26) in Piazza della Signoria in Florence for Francesco Pupawho with the show “In the wrong place – Stories of children victims of mafia” made the breath with all the public who paid a very long applause to the actor and director in the final.
Intense and felt applause also for the author of the book, the journalist and writer, Bruno Palermowho was present at the event and was interviewed on the Arengarium of Palazzo Vecchio by the actress Daniela Morozzi, who conducted the evening.

The show by Francesco Pupa, produced by the Teatro Rossosimona, was hosted in Florence as part of the initiatives for the commemoration of the 32nd anniversary of the massacre of Georgofili. Before the show, the mayor of Florence, Sara Funaro, the president of the Tuscany Region, Eugenio Giani, the president of the Association of Victims of Georgofili, Luigi Dainelli, and the Undersecretary inside, Wanda Ferro, spoke.

An extraordinary scenario that of Piazza della Signoria, crowded with people, in which, through the work of Francesco Pupa and Bruno Palermo, the stories of the children killed by all the mafias in Italy were told. The part dedicated to Nadia and Caterina Nencioni, 9 years old the first, 50 days the second, sisters who died together with the parents and the student Dario Capolicchio, the night between 26 and 27 May 1993, when men of Cosa Nostra made a Fiat Fiorino full of 120 kg of chopped in via dei Georgofili, is very moving.

After the show and the many applause and appreciation, a silent procession, to which Pupa and Palette have also joined, traveled the few meters that from Piazza della Signoria lead to via dei Georgofili, where at 1:04 pm of the night, now of the explosion, silence was played.
For Francesco Pupa and Rossosimona theater the enormous satisfaction of having taken part in such an important initiative and having found such success and appreciation of the thick audience. Equal feelings for Bruno Palermo who, from the stage of Piazza della Signoria, once again reiterated the need to continue investigating why the true principals of the massacres of 1992-93 come out.
