Late on Monday afternoon, the Local Police of Reggio Calabria stopped a citizen of Pakistani nationality who was wandering around in a harassing manner in the city centre, in particular near Piazza Duomo. The man, who was found to have no identification documents, was accompanied to the Viale A. Moro headquarters for the usual checks. Subsequently, subjected to photodactyloscopic tests at the photo-signalling office, it emerged that he was already the recipient of an order to remove him from Italian territory, a provision which he had not complied with. Following the investigations, the individual was reported and an urban warning was issued against him. The magistrate on duty was informed of the incident, while the removal order was sent to the Reggio Calabria Police Headquarters for the consequent measures.
