During the meeting of the club secretariat of the Democratic Party of Paola chaired by Fabio Locane, various topics were discussed and it was decided to give impetus to the initiative to collect signatures against differentiated autonomy and to a parallel one for the defense of public health. The leaders of the city club have therefore promoted a collection of signatures against differentiated autonomy for Sunday 10 March, from 9.30 am, in Piazza IV Novembre in Paola, which “appears to be a legislative instrument destined to increase the large gap, which already exists , between north and south especially as regards the public health system and education”. For these reasons it will be possible to sign so that the right to education and the public health service are defended: “because being educated and being treated – explain the managers – must be a right for everyone. The signed document – it is announced – will be presented and brought to the attention of the municipal council of the City of Paola so that a position can be taken on an extremely topical issue”. In recent days, among other things, local leaders – who had presented the initiative to the Senate in Rome – created the Regional Committee for the Defense of Healthcare.
