In view of the now imminent summer season The Provincial Health Authority of Catanzaro tries to strengthen the “medical guard” stations. The proposal is aimed at general practitioner doctors who also wanted to devote themselves to continuity of care; The company offers greater economic enhancement and the possibility of working in the same location where the work of general practitioner takes placerecognizing an advantage in this for both health and clients, who already know each other. It is an anticipation of the AFT model, which tends to strengthen the link between doctor and patient more and more, which represents the true pillar of local medicine.
This proposal will be followed by the opening of the nursing clinics, piloted by the district of Catanzaro, for which the performance regulations have already been drawn up. These are the first operational projects that will then have to flow into community homes, to give concrete implementation to the territorial assistance model.
