Humanitarian mission for Gaza, 50 tons of aid leaves Italy

The commitment continues Italian defense to support the population in Gaza Strip. This morning, from the port of Monfalconea ship has left bound for Cyprus with on board beyond 50 tons of basic necessitiescollected by National Confederation of Italian Mercy.

Aid for Gaza

After arriving at the port of Limassolin Cyprus, the material will be transferred to Gaza to support local communities experiencing an extremely difficult situation.

The Minister of Defense, Guido Crosettowho authorized the initiative, declared: «Italy, even on this occasion, demonstrates that it is at the side of those who suffer and will continue to do everything possible to give hope to those who, like in Gaza, are experiencing very difficult times» .

A gesture that confirms Italy’s humanitarian commitment in crisis contexts, with particular attention to populations affected by humanitarian emergencies.
