The webcam of the rifle of the youngest of the victims could be the key to the mystery of the three hunters found dead, killed with rifle shots, on the Nebrodi in the Messina area. The investigators are analyzing the footage to try to understand the dynamics of the facts: which is not easy because the video, shot in the woods at dawn, is unclear. The victims were the Davis brothers and Giuseppe Pino, aged 26 and 44 from San Pier Niceto, and Antonio Gatani, aged 82 from Patti. A 50-year-old friend of Gatani is being investigated for voluntary manslaughter in the matter. He would have said, as he admitted when he was interviewed for brief information, that he had participated in the shooting, triggered by an accident, and that he had then left. His revelations, however, having been heard without his lawyer, are unusable. Hence the need for other investigations. We are now awaiting RIS ballistic tests on the weapons to understand the direction of the shots.
