“The public will have some significant surprises: innovative special effects multiply the emotional power of the choreographies, involving the hearts and souls of the spectators”.
Giovanni Anfuso, director of the film, communicated enthusiasm.Hell by Dante, blockbuster of records produced by Buongiorno Sicilia with the collaboration of the Botanical and Geological Park of Alcantara Gorgesthe most watched show on the island in recent years: over one hundred thousand spectators since 2018.
“The rehearsals – adds Anfuso – are proceeding with passion and we have paid particular attention to the choreographies, which aim to enhance the emotional component of the Damned, coordinated with the special effects generated by the innovative machines of Alfredo Vaccalluzzo: fascinating pyrotechnic solutions that are also extremely effective for the perfect synchronization with the light design”.
The great Inferno machine – which sees around fifty people involved every evening, including actors and dancers, technicians and other personnel – has started up again in view of the preview for the Press and Authorities on July 24 and the first performance the following day. The other performances are scheduled every week from Thursday to Sunday until September with the exception of the day of Ferragosto..
And thousands of tickets have already been sold for this blockbuster which boasts the patronage of the MiC, the Ministry of Culture, the Ars, the Department of Entertainment of the Sicilian Region, the Federico II Foundation, the Alcantara River Park Authority and the Municipalities of Motta Camastra and Castiglione di Sicilia. “When, at the end of the second performance, we cross the river – he says – the audience usually waits for us to talk and even make some comments. selfie. A habit that is part of the ritual. And although we have not yet debuted, we are already communicating with viewers on our social pages”.
“You want me to renew the desperate pain that already weighs on my heart just thinking about it, before I speak of it.” adds Davide Sbrogiò, who plays Ugolino, “one of the most intense and emotional characters as demonstrated by the affection that the spectators show at the end of the final performance”.
And to close with the quotes, here comes Giovanna Mangiù, who also this year plays Francesca da Rimini and invites the public to see the show in the magnificent Gorges: “We were reading one day for pleasure about Lancelot, how love constrained him; we were alone and without any suspicion.
