«The effects of the programming agreed between the Ministry of Infrastructure and Transport and Anas will produce the start of at least 65 interventions for 2024 and 2025, for a total amount exceeding 7.6 billion euros, taking into account the resources already allocated and those allocated in the years 2023-2024 for the financing of the Anas program contract (equal to 6 billion). For Calabria, a complex of resources never seen before: over 3.5 billion destined for the implementation of various interventions, from the SS 106 «Jonica» to the A2, passing through the completion of the access roads to the Port of Gioia Tauro».

This was announced by the Ministry of Infrastructure. «The works subject to financing – we read in a note – are those which to date have the greatest planning and procedural progress. Any resources coming from the Development and Cohesion Fund (FSC) 2021-2027 will allow the financing of further planned interventions in the Calabrian territory”. Satisfaction of the deputy prime minister and minister Matteo Salvini: «We are determined to listen to the needs of the territories and make up for decades of too many Nos».
