Inpgi: Ginex new national president of the Journalists’ Social Security Institute

Will be Roberto Ginex to drive the national social security institute for Italian journalists. The professional journalist, delegate of the Sicily constituencywas elected by the same board of directors of Inpgi. 55 years old, from Palermo, a member of the professional order since 1992, he has been involved in the journalists’ union for over 25 years, first as a regional councilor and then, from April 2018 to August 2022, as regional secretary of the Sicilian Press Association; today he is also a national councilor of the Fnsi. A freelance journalist, he has gained considerable experience in the world of public and private press offices.
He will be joined in the role of vice president by Mattia Motta, 42 years old, from Piacenzaprofessional journalist, delegate of the Emilia Romagna constituency. Motta, former deputy general secretary of the Fnsi and president of the National Commission for Self-Employment of the Fnsi. An expert in self-employment, he has dealt with the issues of precariousness and social security and has helped organize the coordination of precarious and freelance journalists in various newspapers. The other directors elected to the Board of Directors of the Inpgi are: Stefano Gallizzi (Lombardy), Massimo Marciano (Lazio) and Beppe Gandolfo (Piedmont).
