«Short extension of extraordinary allowances, isopensions and expansion allowances for workers who, due to the increase in pension requirements provided for by the 2026 budget law, would not reach the new pension starting date within the ordinary redundancy period».
This is clarified by INPS circular no. 41 which solves the problem of those who have already left their jobs with slide agreements, isopension or expansion contracts and risked being left without a bridging allowance and without a pension after the increase in pension requirements: one more month in 2027 and another two in 2028.
The circular allows the extension of the benefit until the new retirement date, even beyond the ordinary period of maximum duration of the redundancy (currently set at 4, 5 or 7 years depending on the type of benefit).
