The UN special rapporteur on the occupied Palestinian territories, Francesca Albanese, will not be allowed into Israel. The Israeli authorities made this decision after the UN special rapporteur for the Palestinians appeared to justify the October 7 Hamas massacre, the Israeli Foreign and Interior Ministries announce that Albanese will not be admitted into the Jewish state.

For months the Israeli Interior Ministry has refused to issue a visa to the Albanian, who is now officially banned. There is no time limit on the decision. “The victims of 7/10 were not killed because of their Judaism, but in response to Israel’s oppression,” he wrote in a tweet in response to a “Le Monde” post about French President Emmanuel Macron honoring the victims of the Hamas onslaught, including a number of French citizens.
