The XII Atri Journalism Lifetime Achievement Award – special radio and TV plaque entitled to Luciano Rispoli, unforgettable television author and presenter from Reggioconsidered among the initiators of Italian public television, was awarded to journalists Paola Saluzzi and Andrea Pancani.

Mariano Sabatini, head of the Luciano Rispoli section of the award, declared: «I am pleased that the XII Atri Prize for Lifetime Journalism has gone to two people who propose programs with respect for the public, who do not steal their time but enrich them with suggestions, reflections, suggestions. As Rispoli has always said he wanted to do. Paola Saluzzi has a steely sweetness which, as I was able to see at the time of the most difficult edition of Uno Mattina on Rai1, in 2001 (in the midst of the collapse of the Twin Towers), has always allowed her to imprint her unique personality wherever she has worked, in Rai, on SkyTg24 and now on Tv2000 for L’Ora solar. And Andrea Pancani who, since the days of TMC, has guaranteed quality, rigorous and impartial information, believing in the third pole when it was still just a dream; while today on La7 he continues his commitment as an esteemed and very cordial anchorman on Coffee Break. My warmest congratulations to them and my big thanks for having inaugurated the award dedicated to a noble father of public service that Rai seems to have guiltily forgotten.”
