The Keeper of the Seals Carlo Nordio will present a constitutional bill on the separation of magistrates' careers within the European elections. This is what emerged, according to what we learn, in the meeting that took place in the afternoon at Palazzo Chigi, in the presence of Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni and Undersecretary Alfredo Mantovano, between Minister Nordio, the Undersecretaries of Via Arenula, the presidents of the House and Senate Commissions and the Justice managers of the majority parties. In the meeting it would also have been decided to accelerate as much as possible on the measure for the elimination of abuse of office.

Furthermore, there is the agreement to present the reform for the separation of magistrates' careers and the establishment of two CSMs, but there is still an ongoing debate on the method of election of the officials, to establish whether it will be a 'dry' or 'mediated' draw. In this case, for the professional component, the magistrates eligible for the CSM who will be drawn by lot would then be subjected to a subsequent selection. These are other details that emerge from the meeting that took place at Palazzo Chigi, in the presence of Prime Minister Meloni among the justice leaders. However, the hypothesis of the appointment of half of the members of the CSM by the Government is excluded.

There will then be a High Court, i.e. a body that will judge both the judging and prosecuting magistrates. It is one of the hypotheses, regarding the justice reform, which emerged during the meeting which took place at Palazzo Chigi, in the presence of Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni, in which the undersecretary Alfredo Mantovano, the minister Carlo Nordio, the deputy minister Paolo Sisto, the undersecretaries Ostellari and Delmastro, the presidents of the Justice Commissions of the Chamber and Senate Ciro Maschio and Giulia Bongiorno and the justice officials of the centre-right parties.
