Kamala Harris Mortgages Nomination, Potential Rivals Back Her. She: “Biden’s Legacy Is Unmatched”

Kamala Harris seems to have already secured the nomination for the White Housemost likely avoiding the mini primaries as well. All of her main potential challengers have already endorsed her, including the governors of California, Michigan, Pennsylvania, Illinois, Minnesota, Wisconsin and Kentucky.

Harris also has the support of Biden and the Clintons. She lacks the public support of the Obamas and the Dem leaders of Congress.

Michigan Gov. Gretchen Whitmer to Serve as Campaign Co-Chair of Kamala Harris, whom she has already given her endorsement by leaving the list of potential challengers. She announced it herself on X.

“Joe Biden’s legacy and achievements are unparalleled in modern history,” Harris said, speaking at the White House in a public event for the first time since Joe Biden withdrew from the presidential race, praising the president’s “honesty and integrity” and saying she was grateful for his work.

“President Biden is feeling much better and recovering quickly from Covid,” Harris said.

In her first public event since Joe Biden’s withdrawal from the presidential race, Kamala Harris appeared more radiant than usual. But in her speech on the South Lawn of the White House to celebrate the National Collegiate Athletic Association championship teams, she made no reference to her new role as the Democratic frontrunner. After all, the occasion was not suitable; it would have been “unpresidential.”
