On the track he had no rivals. Another high-speed weekend for the driver from Cosenza Ermanno Quintieri. In round 3 of the Italian Zone Cup, with the inter-regional format that saw the Calabrian and Lucanian drivers compete on the Campania track of Sarno (Sa), he imposed himself on his rivals of absolute caliber. The Naples International Circuit was, once again, the scene of challenges with a high level of spectacularity and, also thanks to the new layout and the newly resurfaced asphalt, with a high level of difficulty. In the premier class, Kz2, the entry list is enriched by renowned teams and drivers of international caliber, increasing the satisfaction for the final success achieved by the driver from Cosenza. The Frenchman Jean Nomblot, official SodiKart driver, was certainly among the most feared and with the conquest of pole position and victory in the pre-final, he was credited as the favorite candidate for the final victory. Quintieri, second behind the Frenchman in the first two acts, then surprised his rival by managing to drive in a practically perfect manner and taking the final victory and the top step of the podium in Sarno. Success was never in question: he was over five seconds ahead of his closest competitor when the commissioner waved the checkered flag. A victory that proves to be fundamental in the economy of Quintieri's season, ready for the second round of the Italian Championship at the La Conca circuit in Lecce next weekend. The joy and satisfaction of Team KRS and Ermanno Quintieri allow us to look with optimism at the continuation of the race program which will see the driver from Cosenza return to Campania, again for the fourth round of the Italian Championship (Sarno – 19/21 July) and for the Southern Area Cup (Battipaglia-12/13 October) with the ambition of gaining qualification for the Champions Cup, scheduled on the same Salerno track in the first weekend of November.
