The city assembly returns to the chamber after the summer break. In fact, the first meeting of the council is scheduled for next Thursday at 9am in the Luisi room; the second call is scheduled for Saturday morning at 10:30. Five items on the agenda and precisely “the in-house assignment to Lamezia Multiservizi Spa of school and complementary transport services for the school years from 2023 to 2026”. Also on the agenda is the resolution of 19 July for “the approval of the Dup (Single Planning Document) 2023/25”. The assembly will also have to decide on the “appointment of the members of the commission for the formation of the lists of popular judges”. And, again, the civic assembly will have to elect the president of the Board of Auditors after the resignation of Rocco Nicita, Lina Cortale And Claudio Dinallo. The previous members of the college ended their role after the controversies that arose in the chamber during the board meeting on August 4th. Controversies that originated from the contrary opinion of the accounting experts regarding the economic-financial situation of the institution; a crossfire of conflicting opinions which gave rise to profound differences which then led to the resignation of all three members of the body. In recent days, the prefecture held a draw for the appointment of two new auditors: Gabriel Docimus And Alfredo Lucia; the third member who will have the role of president will be chosen by the city assembly.
