The days pass, followed by daring meteorological events in Lamezia, roads that continue to deteriorate, schools closed due to orange alert, and so on. But the heart of Lamezia’s winter probably also hides alerts of another type, so to speak, political and “muscular”, perhaps, with the pawns of larger chessboards in the background – from Rome to Catanzaro – which especially on the centre-right are repositioning themselves. As far as “political” transparency is concerned, the times are what they are. Therefore, if Catanzaro is one step away from yet another municipal collapse, the mayor of Lamezia Mario Murone, who continues to have neither a budget department, nor one for public works (nor, to be honest, the one for social services which has not really been created), insists – according to numerous interviews, in public interventions, etc. – in an optimistic and “serene” vision which increasingly has the flavor of an unspecified and very close private dialogue with the various political forces.
