Traffic blocked on the state road 113 “Settentrionale Sicula” between Santo Stefano di Camastra and Caronia due to a large landslide. The landslide occurred during the night, when fortunately no one was traveling on that stretch of road so no injuries were reported. Anas teams have been on site since the early hours of the morning to remove debris from the roadway, as well as the police. We are waiting for the technical investigations necessary to evaluate the stability of the ridge to be carried out before being able to evaluate the possibility of reopening to transit. Traffic will therefore remain suspended on the 113 in both directions and diverted onto the A20 motorway.
