The financiers of Lamezia Terme, as part of two distinct criminal proceedings launched respectively by the Prosecutor of Catanzaro and that of Lamezia Terme, have notified a notice of conclusion of the preliminary investigations against a professional nurse dependent on the ASP of Catanzaro and a teacher of a school, held in various capacities responsible for the crime of aggravated fraud order to the detriment of the public administration of belonging.

In the first case, the investigations allowed to ascertain that a health operator had asked for and obtained an extraordinary paid leave, falsely attesting to having to assist the cohabiting mother affected by severe handicap. The subsequent investigative feedback instead allowed to ascertain that, during this period, the investigation had been absent from work for reasons completely foreign to the assistance of the family member and, in one case, also to go on vacation on a cruise. The nurse would thus have obtained an undue profit of € 1,289.00, corresponding to the wages received in the period, with equivalent damage to the Asp of Catanzaro.

In a second investigation, the investigative activities were carried out by the Lametine financiers themselves against a teacher and made it possible to ascertain that the same, after obtaining the paid permit to assist the elderly mother, in fact, in a temporal span of about eight months, dreamed of for more 170 days outside the Calabria Region, a place where it was necessary to remain to ensure assistance to its relative. With this conduct, the teacher would have obtained an illicit profit equal to over 16,000 euros, corresponding to the wages permitted unduly. For this sum, the Public Prosecutor of the Republic of Lamezia Terme requested and obtained from the investigating judge a preventive seizure decree in the form for equivalent against the suspect who was subsequently performed by the Yellow Flames.
