Andrea is fine. The Nero, Mancuso and Plastino families wish to express their deepest gratitude to all the people and institutions who made the timely and safe transfer of little Andreawhich took place yesterday, December 3, from the Lamezia Terme hospital to the Meyer hospital in Florence.

A huge thank you to the medical and nursing staff of the Pediatrics Department of Lamezia Terme, directed by Dr. Mimma Caloiero and Dr. Maria Mancuso, for the care and attention dedicated to Andrea from the early stages of his illness. We will always be grateful to Dr. Caloiero and Dr. Maria Mancuso for the closeness and human and professional participation shown towards us.
Deep recognition goes to the anesthetist Francesco Costantino and the nurse Antonina Barresi, who
they accompanied Andrea during the transfer, ensuring his safety and well-being
during the delicate journey to Florence. We are immensely grateful to Dr. Federico Mussa and the medical team of the Meyer Center in Florence, led by Prof. Genitori, for the continuous, timely and precious care they are providing to Andrea. We thank the Prefecture of Catanzaro, which efficiently coordinated the complex transfer operations towards Florence, and the Carabinieri company of Lamezia Terme, which provided its precious support. We express our gratitude to Colonel Marco Angori, Commander of the 31st Wing of the Air Force, and to all the military personnel involved, for the professionalism and availability demonstrated in the organization of the medical flight.
