A loss of water under the sidewalk in via delle Concenerie 20, a few steps from the Viale Carostra, is causing growing inconvenience to a commercial exercise located in the basement. The alarm is launched by the owner of the activity, which has already reported the problem twice by telephone to the AMAM (Southern Acque Messina company), without however still receiving a decisive intervention.
According to what reported by the same company, the escape of water is in direct correspondence with the premises of the commercial activity and, over time, the loss would have worsened significantly compared to the first report. The situation, in addition to representing a potential risk for the structure itself, could also compromise the safety of pedestrians and the stability of the road surface.
“The loss, already seriously serious, has clearly increased – writes the owner in a note – and is compromising the usability of our underground premises. An immediate intervention is needed by the AMAM to avoid further damage and inconvenience “.
The company therefore requires an urgent action for the repair of the pipeline or the failure that is causing infiltration. The hope is that the reminder will be accepted quickly, avoiding that an already problematic situation will be transformed into a real infrastructure emergency.
