Luzzi, the forestry carabinieri donate an olive tree planted in the primary school in S. Mauro

An olive tree was planted this morning by the children of the primary school in the locality of S. Mauro in the municipality of Luzzi. It is no coincidence that this location was chosen for today’s initiative which saw as protagonists the Forestry Carabinieri of the Montalto and S.Pietro in Guarano unit who donated the plant. This area was in fact the subject of a fire and having planted a plant which is the symbol of renewal, rebirth, peace and the vital force capable of regenerating new life is certainly very symbolic. A beautiful day dedicated to the culture of legality and environmental education which has always involved the soldiers of the Forestry Corps who will soon be present in the schools of S. Sosti, Luzzi and San Benedetto Ullano on the occasion of the Tree Festival , Rose, Montalto Uffugo and Castrovillari
