The coral garden is enriched with a new and modern scenic structure: A covered, technologically advanced stage, made to make the space increasingly suitable for welcoming high -level cultural, musical and artistic events.
The work, financed by the Regional Sports Department, Tourism and Entertainment, which strongly supported the idea of equipping the important outdoor area of the “coral” with a structure more suitable for modern show needs, consists of a stage with a size of 12 meters. X 10, entirely covered and equipped with a motorized structure that allows the application of high -profile scenic technicians as required by the most demanding productions (suspended sound systems, ledwall …).
Particular satisfaction expresses the regional councilor Elvira Amata “For the synergy between the Municipality of Messina and the Vittorio Emanuele theater, represented by the mayor Federico Basile and the top of the theater respectively, President Orazio Miloro and the superintendent Gianfranco Scoglio, who turns to the definitive redevelopment of the historic area of the Coral Garden, entrusted by the owner in concession to the Development Association, with the clear objective of making it entirely usable to the Messina community representation of artistic shows and as a functional space for collateral cultural activities “.

Thanks to this synergy of intentions, the Cultural Association Development organized for Friday 30 May, at 9 pm, a free inauguration event of the new structure, entitled “The Opening”which will see the participation of institutional authorities and will be presented by Except for the squad, with the artistic interventions of the well -known comedian Manlio Dovì and Francesco Scimemi. On Saturday 31 May, however, it will be the turn of an evening dedicated to sport: the Coral Garden will in fact host the projection on the Maxiskem of the Champions League final “Paris Saint Germain – Inter”, officially giving way to summer programming. The calendar will continue on Friday 7 June with the “Film Festival”, which will see the participation of national fame artists.
