The group leader of Forza Italia at the Messina City Council, Cettina Buonocoreand the Deputy City Coordinator of Forza Italia, Giuseppe Santalcomade it known that on Monday 7 April, on the occasion of the extraordinary city council, convened in relation to the problems of ERP in the city of Messina, they will deliver to the mayor, the vice mayor and the president of the City Council aPopular petition, signed by 200 citizens residing in the Camaro and Biscontte valley, with which they ask the municipal administration, before the start of the construction site, a reinterpretation of the “Pinqua Project” Functional to avoid the construction of excessively invasive buildings and such as to create additional housing load, with an invitation to modify the project that provides for greater green spaces and areas equipped for the children in the area and the construction of housing structures more suited to a modern housing policy that avoids the repetition of the “Scampia” case, clearly contrasted by the national community.
For this reason Buonocore and Santalco invited the mayor and the city council, in order to fulfill the popular will, of urgently starting an interlocution with the national government and with the Ministry competent to submit the need for a reinterpretation of the project with the consequent request for the extension of the realization times.
