“Voyages Sur Le Monde” is the common thread of the Second edition of the Semaine de la Culture Française that the city of Catanzaro has the honor of hosting from tomorrow, Monday 7, to April 9th.
The initiative is promoted byAlliance Française de Catanzaro with the patronage of the Honorary Consulate of France.
“It will be a real exciting journey in the literature, music and flavors of France – explains the president, Fernanda Tassoni – After the great success of the first edition, we decided to reply by inviting excellent names of the French cultural landscape, JEan-Noël Schifano, Muriel M), Marie Christine Vandoorne, Souad Jamai, Yann Appnerrywho will meet the students of Catanzaro, Lamezia Terme and Locri in the morning and in the afternoon the citizenship.
Regarding the meetings open to the public, it starts tomorrow, On Monday 7 April, at 5.30 pm, in the Conference Room of Unindustria, in Catanzaro, with the appointment “Autour de la Création Littéraire”a look at the creative process of the exceptional authors present at the event with their novels: Jean-Noël Schifano with “Archéologie of a Amour”, Muriel Aizzry with “Paris- rome” and Marie Christine Vandoorne with “A Chemin Silencieux”.
On April 8, appointment at the Imperiale Caffè, 8 pm, with “Chansonnier d’Autore”: a tribute to the tradition of the song and the link between France and Italy, thanks to the Catanzaro singer -songwriter Peppe Fonte and the musical accompaniment of Giorgio Biseo.
“Fonte is a refined artist – says Tassone – has the vocality of the great authors of the French song. The public will remain enchanted to feel stories of everyday life, suspended loves and lost dreams.”
Free admission. A special French dinner will follow at 9 pm (necessary reservation), an opportunity to taste the delicacies of the Oltralpe tradition.
Finally, on April 9, it will be the turn of Yann Apperry, writer and playwright winner of the prestigious Prix Médicis, who will present his novel, Farrago, at 5 pm at the Imperial Caffè.
As anticipated, there will be appointments with the local schools: Vandoorne, Schifano and Miscery were expected on the morning of April 7 at the “Campanella-Fiorentino” high school center in Lamezia Terme and will replicate the 8 morning in the rooms of Confindustria with the pupils of the “De Nobili-Siciliani” institute together with the writer Souad Jamai and his novel “La Version des feés”; Yann Apperry, on April 9, will be at the “G. Mazzini” high school in Locri “.
Three days full of culture, between stories, notes and flavors, to strengthen the dialogue between France and Calabria and offer the public a unique opportunity to immerse yourself in the beauty of French language and creativity.
