The event is organized by the National Amateur League Beach Soccer Department in synergy with the Municipality of Messina, the Tourism Department of the Sicilian Region and the Ars. Sixteen teams at the starting line, who will compete for the title until Sunday in the Arena Beach Stadium in Torre Faro with 1200 seats, immersed in a spectacular and evocative landscape setting. The quarterfinals are scheduled for tomorrow, the semi-finals on Saturday and the last decisive act will take place on Sunday, which will award the coveted title.
The favorites are Catania Beach Soccer, who have already won the Super Cupthe Viareggio championship, Pisa and Napoli, but the ruthless formula of direct elimination from the main draw leaves room for surprises, which could blow up the predictions of the day before.
The Peloritan event will enjoy wide media coverage with two matches in the round of 16, all the quarter-finals and semi-finals broadcast in live streaming from the official YouTube channel of the Lnd. The final will instead be broadcast free of charge on Dazn, which will closely follow the Coppa Italia with a new section in the app dedicated to beach soccer, in which it will be possible to review the summaries of the matches, the best plays, the highlights, the best goals and much more.
Meanwhile, activities continue inside the Beach Soccer Village, the large area of 3,347 m2 with numerous initiatives for young people and families: among these the journalism laboratory in synergy with the GDS Academy of Ses, between information and inclusion.
The rich program also includes live screening of the European Football Championship matches in Germany on the big screen.

The Capo Peloro event is not just sport, but a varied event, which develops in a real mega village. In fact, there are numerous collateral initiatives planned, from street food to recreational activities, with moments of a social nature and focused on sustainability. The journalism laboratory “Information is young – Gds Academy for Sicily Beach Soccer 2024” received deserved acclaim yesterday. as part of the Società Editrice Sud project, with schools and universities in Sicily and Calabria, for the promotion of quality information and young people’s participation. The workshops, with the presence of a representation of students from the schools and the University of Messina as part of Unime Gds Lab, were held by the manager of the Gds Academy of Gazzetta del Sud Natalia La Rosa, with the precious contribution of Sabrina Assenzio, head of the Lab area.
The young reporters were able to get to know the fascinating world of journalism up close, interviewing the organizers and authorities present. In particular, with councilor Amata we talked about sport as a tool for inclusion and with Dr. Simone Cappello of the IRBIM-CNR for protection of the marine environment. The projects “Gazzetta del Sud in scuola con Noi Magazine” and “Ci sono anch’io” by Rtp (curated by Rachele Gerace) were awarded recognition: on stage the young people from Messina schools – who received compliments from Mayor Basile – together with the Ladies Chefs led by president Carlotta Andreacchio, with whom they discussed correct nutrition and traditional Messina dishes.
