It is the League that wins the “derby” entirely within the center-right of Messina with the Brothers of Italy, with a seat in the city council up for grabs. The verification operations of the list votes by the Central Electoral Office of Palazzo Zanca, chaired by the magistrate Giuseppe D’Agostino, have been completed, and the final data rewards the League, assigning it the second seat, to the detriment of Fratelli d’Italia, which aspired to the third. This means that Salvinian Cosimo Oteri will be a councilor, while Melonian Debora Buda remains out for the moment. Now the checks of preferences will begin, to resolve the last doubts, at this point within the individual lists. Operations that will last at least for the whole of next week.
