Colors and geometries that intersect in the spaces of the Tribune of the Villa Dante Arena in the murals made by the Street Artist Daniele D’Agostino.
The work, entitled “Mediterranean currents”, is a tribute to the beauty and complexity of the Strait of Messina, a place where history, myth and nature merge into a unique landscape. This artistic project, strongly desired by the councilors Francesco Caminiti and Liana Cannatais part of the broader redevelopment context of Villa Dante, one of the most important public spaces in the city, managed by Messina Social City.
As the president of Messina Social City asserts, Valeria Asquini: “Through this initiative, we want to encourage a more dynamic approach to the use of Villa Dante, an increasingly inclusive and aggregative place, where art, culture and inclusiveness intertwine to create opportunities for meeting and growth, especially for young people, as well as reference point for everyone, where each person, regardless of his age or origin, can feel welcomed and participated in the community”.
