Dramatic intervention this morning for the firefighters of Messina. A 70 -year -old man fell from about 60 meters in the hills above Mili Pietro. The carabinieri of Tremestieri will shed light on the incident.

The rescuers, together with the health personnel, reached the body on foot, destroying between brambles and steep slopes. Unfortunately, for the man there was nothing more to do: the death was found on the spot.
The authorization of the magistrate started the recovery operations, made complex by the impervious conformation of the land. The body was finally entrusted to the funeral honors in charge of the family.
The operations ended in the early afternoon. The firefighters returned to the barracks at 3:30 pm.
