From 7pm on Friday 8 March on the lower floor of “Fosso” parking lot Access and parking for extraordinary cleaning work will be temporarily prohibited. Atm spa has already posted signs warning users that the stalls must be left free in order to allow the scheduled interventions to be carried out.
Soon, the “Fosso” in via La Farina will also become completely automated. The electronic devices installed will regulate the access and exit of cars via automatic barrier. Therefore, the process of technological innovation continues, strongly desired by the current governance of Atm Spa and made possible thanks to the European funds of the Pon Metro 2014 -2020 intercepted by the Municipality of Messina, which identified the Transport Company as the beneficiary of the financing.

At the same time as the activation of the automated system, a series of parking innovations will be introduced: the modular car park in via La Farina, which is located near viale San Martino and near Messina Central Station and the bus and tram stops, will no longer fall within the ZTL and, within it, it will no longer be possible to use either the residents pass or the scratch cards. Atm spa also reminds you that in the 180 stalls of the aforementioned car park the MoveMe subscription is not valid.

The rates will be equal to those of the “Cavallotti” and “Villa Dante” and divided as follows: the hourly rate will be €1.00 every day from 7:00 to 20:00; the nightly rate €2.00 from 8.00pm to 7.00am (the entire period); half day rate €5.00, from 7:00 to 15:00 or from 13:00 to 21:00; daily rate €9.00, every day 24 hours a day; 3 day rate €25.00 (without time limits); 7 day rate €55.00 (without time limits).
Access for electric cars will be totally free and will take place by reading the license plateprovided that the owners have the appropriate badge issued by Atm Spa.
For any need, users will be able to contact an operator from the Messina Transport Company simply by pressing the call button located at the entrance to the car park. The service will be active every day 24 hours a day.
