In less than 24 hours, the two works by AleXsandro Palombo against anti-Semitism which appeared yesterday in Milan were vandalized. The first work – in Piazza Castello – which he portrayed Anne Frank crying with the Israeli flag in his hands was erased and then covered with large writings «Free Gaza», while at her side the Palestinian girl remained intact with the words Free Gaza written on her face. The second work that appeared yesterday in the Porta Nuova area was also defaced: the image of the famous child with his hands raised from the Warsaw ghetto, symbol of the Shoah, was completely erased, while the terrorist soldier remained intact at his side of Hamas and the child soldier of Gaza. The two works «Innocence, hatred and hope» by AleXsandro Palombo were a warning about the wave of anti-Semitism that is overwhelming Jews all over the world.
