In the last weekend, the Carabinieri of the Compagnia di Milazzo have prepared an extraordinary service with checks and patrols, even at night, aimed at guaranteeing the safety of citizens, with the aim of preventing and repressing any form of illegality, as well as to verify compliance with the rules of the Traffic Lawswith particular attention to the control of people who lead to driving vehicles after consuming alcoholic beverages.
During the service, 150 vehicles and 270 people were checked, with the dispute of different violations of the Highway Code, also for pipes that put in serious danger the safety of motorists and pedestrians. Following the contested irregularities, 60 points have been reduced by the licenses of some offenders, while two vehicles were seized.
With reference to crimes connected to road trafficthe military of the weapon reported five people to the judicial authority: one was stopped at guide in a state of alcoholic intoxication, three per having refused to undergo the assessment for the state of alteration for the use of drugs, and another for driving without a license with recurrence. In addition, three other people were reported – in various capacities – for abusive port of weapons and objects capable of offendingand for subtraction of things subjected to seizure.
While regarding the control activity of commercial activities, the carabinieri, assisted by the staff of the Asp of Messina, have cfour commercial activities of the Mamertino area, denouncing the owner of a grocery shop for possession of food in a bad state of conservation, While three other people have been sanctioned administratively, in various capacities, for possession of expired products, hygienic – health deficiencies, lack of infesting control protocol application, failure to activate HCCP procedure and failure to trace food, For a total of over 26,000 euros.
As part of the anti -drug activity, 5 people between the ages of 17 and 36 were reported to the Prefecture of Messina as assunators of narcotic substances, since they were found in possession of modest quantities of hashish and marijuana detained for personal use, seized by the military and sent to the Carabinieri of the Ris of Messina for the relative laboratory analyzes.
